No MC Number Needed
An MC number is what lets a carrier haul for-hire freight across state lines. When you lease on with SoReel Outdoors LLC, you run under our MC number, so you do not need one of your own. Brokers set up the load with us, and you haul it.
A brand new MC number is the hardest thing to book. Most brokers will not touch an MC under 90 days, and plenty want six months or a year. Under our MC you skip that wait and get loads from the brokers we already work with.
What You Need Instead of an MC Number
- Your own pickup, 3/4 ton or 1 ton, in good shape
- A flatbed trailer, gooseneck or bumper pull
- A valid driver license and a DOT medical card. CDL and non-CDL drivers are both welcome
- Straps, chains, binders, and tarps
- A phone you answer, and the habit of sending pictures at pickup and delivery
- Fluent, professional English with shippers, receivers, and roadside officers
- A regular U.S. domestic driver license. No non-domiciled CDLs
- A verified history with hauling, strapping and securing a flatbed load, maintaining timelines, and following directions
Dispatch Comes With It
Reel Time Dispatch books your loads, sets up the brokers, handles the rate confirmations and check calls, and gets the paperwork in for billing. You approve your loads and run them. Your percentage is set by your experience, your equipment, and how much dispatching you need, and it is written into your lease before you sign.
We Do Not Sign On Just Anyone
Our brokers book us because our drivers speak English, pass the inspection, and make the appointment. Every driver under our authority carries that record. Meet the standard above and we will get you rolling. If it is not you, we are not the right fit.
